Fitness tip for May: Plant something

On these we're-smelling-summer kind of days, few activities match heading out the door to walk, to run, to hop on a pogo stick till the stars come out.

But as an homage to the wonder of nature and the power of possibility, here's a tip for May: Plant something.

A flower seed, maybe, or a tomato seedling. An idea (for a new route to run; a new way to train), or a plan (to try yoga again; to learn to cook fish).

​Water it, nurture it, believe in it. Watch it grow, knowing that without your resolve, you'd be staring at a pile of dirt or blank lines in a notebook. Instead, you're ogling a bouquet of beauty, because you decided to take a deep breath and to dig a little deeper.
